David Pan arrived to the United States as a high school freshman with the goal of studying computer science. Within 4 years David mastered English, learned to program in C++ and Java, and interned/volunteered for multiple organizations, including Khan Academy. His hard work paid off as David has been accepted into UC Berkeley's esteemed Computer Science program, one of the most competitive majors at the school.
